Christmas presents that I will never forget

TALL OK2 TALL OKJ and I got two fantastic and refreshing Christmas presents from his brother D. He is a very good guy 🙂

The first present was a Tall Ship Cruise in Sydney Harbour in Sydney’s only authentic timber tall ship that we did this Wednesday.

We did 2 hours of sailing and on the boat there was a variety of canapés with meat, seafood and vegetarian options and there was a free bar, I enjoyed a few glasses of Chardonnay and got a bit sailor tipsy in the sun, it was an amazing sailing experience.

HORSE blue M2 HORSE Blue MThe second present we enjoyed on Saturday. It was a wonderful horse riding tour in the Blue Mountains, 2 hours outside Sydney in the bush.

It was amazing I have never seen such a beautiful nature and the weather was absolutely perfect (sun, sun, sun).

The horses were so nice and and they smelled just perfect. They smelled of that perfect horse smell that every horse-girl or boy knows (a smell that I have missed for the last many years).

My horse was silver-white gelding and he was well trained, his name was Number Nine  (I called him cutie-horse), J got a brown horse for beginners, also a gelding and his name was Banjo. J and Banjo looked so sweet together!

After the horse riding we passed by Scenic World which also is in the (huge) Blue Mountains.

Scenic 2 Scenic world 1In The Scenic World we discovered the thrill of a 52 degree incline riding the steepest passenger railway in the world, the Scenic Railway (against my will), I said Arghhhhhh the whole way).

The Railway experience descends 310 metres through a cliff-side tunnel, emerging into ancient rainforest at the Jamison Valley floor. It has been operating since 1945.

Then we did the WalkWay where we could see and experience the wonderful and green nature/Rain Forest.

And we also did the Scenic Cableway where we could enjoy the panoramic view of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains from 545 metre (uhhhh, but beautiful it was).

We also saw the famous Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, Mt Solitary and we got a glimpse of the Katoomba Falls.

What an amazing day we had 🙂

All this above are Christmas presents that I will never forget, Thank you so much J’s bro, D 🙂
