Tossa de Mar (Final part)
Day 2 in Tossa
J and I had an amazing breakfast buffet at the hotel (Don Juan Tossa). We had everything we could wish for breakfast. There were gluten-free bread, muesli, cornflakes, cold meats, muffins etc, and there were different kind of eggs, bacon, fruit, croissants, coffee, juice, wine and cava of course. Hehe (It´s Spain!)
With two full stomachs J and I enjoyed a few hours at the hotel’s lovely rooftop terrace with two swimming pools, bar and lounge. The rooftop terrace has a beautiful view over the city, mountain and some small bungalow houses with green and flower-filled front yards.
Then after the terrace we grabbed a total tourist trip on a little blue guided puff-puff, train. We were the only tourists around so we decided to go on a small bumpy ride around the mountain, beach and Tossa de Mar city.
*The train ride we will probably not repeat next time we visit Tossa. But It is certainly not the last time we visited this lovely city.
On day 3
We did a get away day trip to Lloret de Mar, that is 30 min. with bus from Tossa to Lloret.
Lloret de Mar is a very tourist city (Sunny Beach-ish, young party people), but the beach Fenals is beautiful, and they have great ice creams, Mmmm 🙂
A mix max photo collage of; 1/The quiet, beautiful and old cemetery in Tossa. 2/Afternoon snack at La taverna del mar, Penya Barcelonista, a perfect place with solo live Spanish guitar/ jazz, while you enjoy a tasty refreshment. 3/Sangria con vino. 4/Two happy people, who would like a holiday again 3 – 5 days in Tossa is not enough!
