DIY – Recycled Jars, Glass, & Containers

Stuck with alot of jars and don’t know what to do with them? – Well, it’s time to re-use them for other purposes.

J probably think’s I’m crazy but I love to recycle ALL our used and empty jars at home. I think many of them have lots of purposes.

You can use your jars as:

• Drinking cups
• Salad containers
• You can decorate your home and garden with them
• You can create lamps out of your old canning jars
• You can use them as candle holders and as vases
• You can use them to store your makeup brushes
• You to store your flour, oatmeal and muesli in them
• You can use them for canning jams or sauces
• You can make little gifts with baked goodies in them,  etc.

 

Using your empty jars you can help protect the environment. Maybe the photos above can help you with a few inspirational ideas on how to turn a simple jar into something beautiful and at the same time help you saving your money and time.

Try it out- maybe you will fall in love with this recycle project! I did – and I think all our jars, food-pantry-containers, glases, candle holders, vases, etc. looks cute and pretty in me and J’s home 🙂
