BLACKBOARD DOOR

I love to be in control of what is lacking in the home of grocery products and other things & I like to rember that by doing different to do lists (schh J. dosn´t like my to do lists).

What I don´t like is ugly old boring backdoors, which there is many of especially in Danish apartments.

I love this thing about the blackboard doors / cabinet doors, it´s so smart!

I use to have an ugly grey and boring lokning kitchen backdoor in in my old apartment in Copenhagen.

Therefore Iinstead of constantly being reminded of it´s ugliness, I made it into a functional blackboard /door.

I bought blackboard-paint in a Handyman store and painted the whole door with blackboard paint.

This is how you do:

Clean the door surface carefully

Sand the door (just a little)

Then paint the door, you will have to paint it two times, to get the total black blackboard look.

I hang photos that make me happy when I look at my door & I also used the door as a check to do list in which I use chalk for writing.  🙂
