New Years Eve at O Bar and Dining, Sydney

New Year 2014 2 New Years 2014 1This morning J was wearing the Big Spender pants, which means that we are going to celebrate New Years Eve 2013/2014 with one of the best views in Sydney.

We are going to enjoy a six course meal at O Bar and Dining owned by one of Australia’s most famous chef Michael Moore.

I’m not going to say much more yet about this fantastic (hopefully) evening that we are going to spend at O Bar and Dining, I just have to show you the menu, I think the menu sounds beyond fantastic.

Six course menu:

Cocktail on arrival

– Lemongrass tomato consommé, scallop, kaffia lime leaf

– Lemon whipped ricotta, peas, pea shoots, heirloom baby beets, verjuice jelly, romesco, popped wild seeds

– Quinoa chilli crusted king prawns avocado, fennel, orange

– Warm salad of smoked quail, buckwheat, baked grapes, preserved lemon, herb aioli

– Grilled black angus beef fillet heirloom carrot, king brown mushrooms, chimichurri, young leek

– Chocolate hazelnut and salted caramel delice, banana ice cream

I can’t look at any more food photos or read more food reviews now… my teeth are already running in water like The Victoria Falls!!!

I promise that I will take lots of photos and that I will post them on Myhomeinthecity (ASAP), when I’ll see you in the New Year 2014 🙂
