Monday Dreaming of a kitchen with an exposed raw brick wall

In my childhood home we had beautiful exposed brick walls in our big lovely country kitchen.

When I’m cooking in our a little small kitchen I often dream/ wish that me and J could take my old childhood home kitchen, put it on a few wheels and then roll it down here to Spain…
…But it will probably be a little difficult or rather, mission impossible!

The last few months J and I have been looking for apartments to buy. So far we haven´t found the perfect one, but that hasn’t kept me away from picturing my/our future dream kitchen. I am already planning of how to design and decorate our forthcoming new kitchen. It has to be spacious, lightful and a little rustic. I am picturing French country kitchen meets Swedish skerries, adding Canadian wood kitchen with smart white modern high gloss bright kitchen. And this all together with a raw brick wall either a red brick colour or painted raw white.

Our future kitchen has to have enough room for a big rustic long dining table and plenty of room for good cooking, fun, cosiness and debauchery.

I want to be able to sit in my kitchen and make Halloween pumpkins, Christmas decorations, Easter tam tam or just read a book while I listen to music or bake something delicious with our future fancy “Smeg” oven and that brings a nice smell of baking which spreads throughout our little lovely home.

Ohhh dream dream dream please become a reality soon thank you 🙂
