BALCONY DECO

FOUR GOOD DAYS Part 1

I had the best four days together with my sweet little sister, her boyfriend and my Bf. James.

But one thing seems a bit strange to me, it maybe a curse or maybe not…. It´s as if when family or friends come to visit me from Denmark the weather changes from being very warm and sunny to cloudy fresh with cold winds. It´s as if the Danish people somehow take the danish weather to whereever they go! (jejeje)

But we still had four days of OK weather at 26-28 degrees.

Tapas Bcn

1/ Segons Mercat de la Barceloneta in Calle Balboa, 16, Barcelona. A really nice local tapas restaurant. In the photo you see the smokey eggplant and goats cheese dish, cold smoked salmon, traditional spanish serano ham and parmasan cheese and gluten-free pan con tomato, yummm!

2/ Sine, James, (beer, cerveza, agua man) and Jeppe. After the dinner we got stuck into a bottle of cava and some tasty mojitos at a beach bar in Port Olimpic.

3/ Me and my sis…. We are happy here and as you can see we look a little tipsy.

4/ A very good Piña Colada!

Brunch

5/ I had the day off on Monday, so we had a nice breakfast on our terrace. I made a very healthy Beetroot smoothie to go with the breakfast. (Try this at home: Mix in the blender: Beetroot, natural Yoghurt, frozen banana, frozen strawberries, ginger, milk and fresh dates).

6/ Romeo and Juliet in front of the fountain at Plaza de Cataluña.

7/ We went to two of the best markets in Barcelona. Mercat de la Concepcio in Calles de Aragón y Valencia & we went to Mercat de la Boqueria, Rambla, 91, just right in the heart of La Rambla.

If you want to see another market, then the old Santa Caterina food market is also worth a visit. It is located at Av. Francesc Cambó, 16.

Santa Caterina market offers a couple of very good restaurants inside where they prepare the food with all the fresh local produce.

8/ Monday Dinner at Restaurant Mordisco, Passatge de la Concepcio, Barcelona. The food was very delicious and tasty but the portions size was ultra small in contrast with the price.

If you are not feeling very hungry and want to try very good food and recieve great service then you should visit Mordisco.

To be continued in Part Two!
