Hazelnuts and Oats Balls – A Danish Christmas Delight
Hazelnuts and Oats Balls (plus a little exstra), as the Danes know them from childhood, with butter, oats, coconut flakes, cocoa and of course a little bit more, just because it´s me;)
Oats balls are really easy to make, and kids can easily participate. In fact, oats balls so easy to make that the hardest part is not eating them all at once!
Hazelnuts and Oats Balls
Recipe:
2 dl. of gluten free oats
1 tbs. of icing sugar
60 g of butter
2 tbs. of cocoa
2 tablespoons ready-made coffee
1 tbs. Bailys
2-3 tbs. of coconut flakes.
sprinkles:
Chopped toasted hazelnuts and coconut flakes.
Mix all the ingredients from the recipe above and shape it by hands into little balls, rool the balls in the haselnut/coconut sprinkles.
Arrange the balls in a biscuit tin and put them in the fridge for minimum 2 hours before serving.
I´m going to bring these little delicious balls to a Flea Marked that I´m attending together with Pampigvintage tomorrow, but ihh I feel like eating them right now, but I won´t 😉
Enjoy the rest of your Friday night and have a fantastic weekend!
