The best green and healthy Carrot-Top Pesto

QUINOA PORRIDGE Gluten-free brekkie

Maybe this could be an idea for your brekkie tomorrow :)??

Quinoa porridge
with kaki fruit, banana, quark and nuts (almonds, hazelnuts and cashews ♥)

Recipe:
(2 pers)

1 cup of quinoa, rinsed
3 cups of milk of choice (l like almond or rice)
1 cup of quark
large handful of almonds, hazelnuts and cashews, chopped
1 kaki fruit
1 banana

1-2 tsp of cinnamon
1tsp of maple syrup (or raw honey)

Place quinoa, milk in a small saucepan and boil like regular quinoa, for more less 10 minutes or until quinoa is al dente and until most of the milk is absorbed.

Wash and peel the fruit and cut into small pieces.

Chop the nuts.

Arrange it all nicely in a plate and sprinkle with cinnamon and a little syrup and enjoy a healthy and filling gluten-free brekkie 🙂

Note: most grains like quinoa work best if they are soaked for a few hours or overnight. It brings them to life plus it helps cook them much faster. If you can do this – it’s a bonus for you!
